I
n 1963, Ronald T. Snow, Sr. came to Saginaw from the Detroit area. As a licensed funeral director he worked at the Waier Funeral Home for six years. In 1967 he and his wife Felecia purchased the Waier Funeral Home and renamed it the Snow Funeral Home. Trying to do something new, the Snow Funeral Home was the first funeral home in the saginaw area to provide background music in the funeral home. The former location on North Michigan served its purpose very well, however Ronald and Felecia Snow saw that their funeral home needed to expand. A location was obtained in Saginaw Township and in 1984 its building was completed. This current location, located at 3775 N. Center Road, has served the community well. In 1996, following 43 years of dedicated service, Ronald and Felecia Snow transferred ownership of the funeral home to their son, Ronald T. Snow, Jr. and Paul D. Metevia.
The Snow Funeral Home offers an inviting and warm atmosphere. A marble fireplace adorns the entryway where family and friends gather. The funeral home appointments were selected to maintain a professional yet home-like atmosphere. Whether serving a large family or small, the Snow Funeral Home can accommodate every family’s needs.
The Snow Funeral Home is completely handicapped accessible and is barrier free and has ample off road parking.
